I survived the local
family meal, food was delicious, elderly nuns blessing us was lovely, sitting
on the floor crossed legged was impossible! Was allowed to stretch my legs out
a bit but even so I was seriously uncomfortable.
Have sent 3 postcards from here, cards are ridiculously cheap but stamps were the equivalent of £1.08 each so could only afford to send 3!
It's the dreaded home stay tomorrow night in Vang Vieng, mattresses on the floor and no shower in the morning, oh dear, will be overjoyed when we decamp to a hotel the following night.
