About me

I'm a seasoned traveller who hasn't explored Indochina for many years. I'll be interested to see how much it has changed.

Leaving my husband in charge at home is a brave move on my part,  I must remember to check the house insurance before I go.  Hopefully by the time I return he will have worked out the intricacies of the cooker/fridge/washing machine/hoover ........ Plus how will I survive without my normal fix of time out with my daughter? And will my son-in-law enjoy the break from my many requests for information on how to deal with things that consist of more buttons and dials than I can cope with?

I'll miss (apart from my family, most of all my family) the Royal Opera House, London theatres, my music, lunches in, dinners out, my home, long phone calls with Fiona, short walks with David, my comfortable bed, my own pillow, being clean and tidy.

I won't miss the cold and damp, the admin, the depressing news, the run up to the election.

    1. Thank you Atlanta! It's certainly an adventure and David seems to be surviving, spending lots of time on his beloved hills. He also has a blog (much shorter than mine so less to plough through!): anoldiesmisadventure.blogspot.com
