Have arrived at the hotel
in Luang Prabang, a previously French territory or protectorate so lots of
French signs, useful for me as my Lao isn't up to scratch yet.
Have been lucky enough to be in a single room which is nice.
Luang Prabang looks interesting, a Unesco site where the majority of the buildings are over 100 years old. Many on the group hope to elephant ride tomorrow but I think I would prefer to bike around, have seen lots of bike rental shops.
